About Elijah

Unstoppable, phenomenal, inspirational and original are a few words that describe Motown’s own sensational crooner Elijah Connor. Singing since he could talk, Connor has a long history in the limelight. A commercial print model for brands like Armani Exchange, American Eagle and Saks Fifth Avenue, Connor decided to follow his true calling and passion - singing. Since, he has trained under Gospel star J. Moss and toured alongside multi-platinum selling artists including Robin Thicke, Barry Manilow, Fantasia, Michelle Williams and LL Cool J.
The younger cousin of one of the world’s most influential singers Prince, Elijah Connor’s steady hands manipulate the guitar and piano. His sultry sounds resemble that of Chris Brown, Dave Hollister, Musiq Soulchild and Neyo. Connor promises to bring the Motown sound back home. Influenced by greats Sam Cooke, Donny Hathaway and Al Green Connor speaks on his passion, “Music is like medicine, it is a healing agent. It uplifts any mood and is filled with intense emotion. Life without music is purposeless.” His first album will feature hits produced by industry giants Marcus Devine, Mario Winans and the dynamic duo Carvin & Ivan of the LabRats.
Given the advice of top industry professional and friends, Elijah Connor recently embarked into the world of entrepreneurship, partnering with long-time friend Jermaine "Murdoc" Welsh and outside investors, to create the premiere media company Do Better Inc.
